it pays to discover

isn't that the saying?

i think that is mostly true...and in this case, im discovering how to be a discovery teacher.

the fancier name is "educational therapist"
(i dont have a couch yet...im working on it :)

basically, the gist, is that i am learning how to help the kids who are above special ed and below the average kid in their grade. the program focuses on reading and writing because lets face, everything we do is dependent on that.

once i get past the feeling of "i have no idea what im doing" i think im really excited about this new development. my heart has always been with the kids who struggle [i think because I was the kid who struggled too] and i am so thankful that i will have tools in my hands that can help them.

so when the school year starts, i will have a new group of about 6 kids that i will meet with twice a week and we will learn how to catch up with where they are supposed to be. it will be challenging, but i am so excited to see how God will work through the coming school year!

so i am praying that 1. my visa will come in and 2. my support will come in so i get to these kids at the beginning of the school year.

i am also excited because i have the opportunity to be apart of the Bethany team that is headed to Prague for a week long camp. i have some pretty awesome lessons [almost] ready to go and would love the opportunity to teach them to the mk's that will be at the camp. this camp is in the middle of August, making the arrival of my visa and 100% support a necessity.

pleasepleaseplease join me in praying for these things! our God is a big God and holds all things in His hands! i am trusting that He will provide in His time for all of these things.

if you would like to partner with me financially, i would love to let you know how you can help!
